Hit Man

Review: Wow. Glen Powell went off here. As the lead actor and co-writer of this film, he took on an extremely heavy lift. But he and co-writer/director Richard Linklater executed beautifully. The supporting cast also gave wonderful performances, namely Adria Arjona & Austin Amelio. The comedic undertone landed perfectly when it was supposed to and the transition we see Gary Johnson/Ron go through is exquisite. Also, agreed. All pie is good pie.

High: The pace was stellar. The montages of Gary taking on different personas and the relationship between he & Madison progressing were both great.

Low: I have no notes.

Rating: 9.5/10
