Irish Wish

Review: It’s great that Lindsay Lohan has been able to work on a few projects recently, but I really hope the next one is good. I’d say this movie was a solid step below a Hallmark romance. It was cheesy, but in the endearing way, just the cringey way. The premise was okay at best, and I really don’t think it needed the fantastical elements at all. Also for a movie called ‘Irish Wish’ that takes place in Ireland, not a single Irish actor starred (and there are so many good, relevant Irish actors at the moment).

High: The scenery was beautiful so that’s nice. Also Ed Speelers was fairly charismatic, especially in comparison to the other actors.

Low: There were many lows, but the lowest has to be the overuse of the name Paul Kennedy. Just call him Paul.

Rating: 2/10
