Mt. Rushmore- Emma Stone

Probably the greatest actress to emerge in the 21st century, Emma Stone has had great roles both in critically acclaimed films & blockbusters. I’m just going to say this right off rip. I didn’t just make this all of her Oscar-nominated performances, because I really personally think some of her other roles are more iconic & influential to her career. So to honorably mention some honorable mentions I’ll start with her Oscar-nominated roles as Sam Thomson (Birdman) & Abigail Masham (The Favourite). A few other roles worth mentioning are Skeeter Phelan (The Help), Hannah Weaver (Crazy, Stupid, Love), Cruella de Vil (Cruella), & Billie Jean King (Battle of the Sexes).

Olive Penderghast in 'Easy A'- Perhaps this is a controversial pick, especially in comparison to some of Stone's more acclaimed roles. But I think her first leading role deserved its spot here. Partially inspired by Nathaniel Hawthorne's 'The Scarlet Letter,' Stone portrays a teenage girl who lies about losing her virginity and has to deal with the repercussions this has on the way the students at her school view her.

Gwen Stacy in 'The Amazing Spider-Man'- The Gwen to Andrew Garfield's Spider-Man, this is Stone's biggest blockbuster role & helped familiarize wider audiences with her. She portrays the police captain's daughter & love interest of Peter Parker in both the 2012 film and its sequel. This is also notable for being one of the only roles in which she has her natural blonde hair.

Bella Baxter in 'Poor Things'- The film that won Stone her second Oscar, she stars as a woman who committed suicide and is reanimated by a mad scientist (Willem Dafoe). She at first has the mind of a baby and quickly matures, with Stone playing the character's various ages. She goes on various adventures & learns what it means to be a free, independent person.

Mia Dolan in 'La La Land'- Now her first Oscar-winning role, as a woman trying to make it as an actress in Hollywood. Stone has fantastic onscreen chemistry with Ryan Gosling's Seb (go check out his Mt. Rushmore) & brings a very emotionally real character to audiences. Considered one of the best musicals, romances, & all around films of the 21st century, Stone solidified herself as one of the best in the biz with 'La La Land.'
