Mt. Rushmore- Arnold Schwarzenegger

Gosh that dude has a long last name. Arnold’s top four features some action heroes, some villains, and a barbarian. Some of his other notable roles that earn honorable mentions are: Ben Richards in ‘The Running Man,’ Douglas Quaid in ‘Total Recall,’ Det. John Kimble in ‘Kindergarten Cop,’ & being the Governor of California.

Conan the Barbarian in ‘Conan the Barbarian’- Arnold’s breakthrough role was in this sword & sorcery fantasy film based on the comic hero of the same name. Arnold reprised the role in ‘Conan the Destroyer’ and the role launched him both to stardom & action hero status. He continued to build on both those through his career, but Conan will always be the starting point.

Major Dutch Schaefer in ‘Predator’- A military man who ends up in a feud with the titular extraterrestrial hunter Dutch is really just Arnold personified, as many of his characters are. The massive Arnold is paired against an even massiver (not a word) Kevin Peter Hall who stands a whopping 7’2 before even being put in his costume. But somehow it always feels like a fair match, probably due to the sheer bulk that is Arnie. Also ‘Get to the choppa.’

Col. John Matrix in ‘Commando’- Another military man who is very similar to Dutch, except Colonel Matrix fights people and not aliens. The pictures of Dutch & Matrix also look almost the exact same lol. So I guess really this is just kind of a not as cool version of the previous entry…

The Terminator in ‘The Terminator’- ‘I’ll be back.’ ‘Hasta la vista baby.’ The Terminator is one of the most iconic film characters ever. Arnold has played the character in 5 different films, the first and second of which are considered two of the best films ever. The rest, not so much, but Arnold is iconic as T-800 nonetheless.
