Top 10 Co-Star Couples

After our last article focusing on couples that didn’t end up together, now we’re going to focus on some that did. Like in real life. We’re going to look at 10 celebrity couples that met on set, fell in love in real life, & are still together today. Yes, still being together is a requirement, so no Brangelina, no Bennifer, nor anyone else who split up.

Tom Holland & Zendaya- Starting off with the newly engaged couple & two of the biggest movie stars on the planet. The two worked together on ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ and its sequels, falling in love both on and offscreen. In January of 2025 they announced their engagement & it was also revealed that they are both set to star in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming adaptation of ‘The Odyssey.’

Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds- Topical. Although they are controversial now, the only controversy with these two used to be that the films they were in weren’t very good. And I saw that as a fan. They met on the set of the failed superhero film ‘Green Lantern’ and now have 4 children together. Lively appeared in the Reynolds led films ‘IF’ & ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ in cameo role.

Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes- One of the more private couples on the list, these two began dating after filming ‘The Place Beyond the Pines.’ In 2022 they confirmed that they had gotten married at some point & that they have two daughters together. Mendes is currently retired to care for their family with Gosling is on a career tear.

Sarah Michelle Gellar & Freddie Prinze Jr.- Meeting in 1997 while filming ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’ this couple began dating & got engaged in 2001. Gellar made a cameo in Prinze’s film ‘She’s All That’ and the couple has gone onto appear together in ‘Scooby-Doo’ and it sequel as Fred & Daphne, ‘Happily N’Ever After,’ & ‘Star Wars: Rebels.’ They have two children together.

Kirsten Dunst & Jesse Plemons- After appearing together in season 2 of Fargo, these two former teen stars began dating in 2016. They have two children together, born in 2018 & 2021. They have appeared together in ‘Civil War’ & ‘The Power of the Dog,’ the latter of which they both received Academy Award nominations for.

Kit Harington & Rose Leslie- I’m having to dive into the world of TV a little bit on this list. In 2011 the onscreen couple of Jon Snow & Ygritte began dating in real life. The ‘Game of Thrones’ couple was married in 2018 & have two children together.

Josh Dallas & Ginnifer Goodwin- Another TV couple that began dating in real life is onscreen Snow White & Prince Charming in ‘Once Upon a Time.’ Dallas & Goodwin married in 2014 & had two children together, all while still starring together in the fantasy drama series.

Adam Brody & Leighton Meester- The 2011 rom com ‘The Oranges’ is not really a remembered film & it received negative reviews upon release. However it did introduce Adam Brody & Leighton Meester of ‘The O.C.’ & ‘Gossip Girl’ fame, respectively. The couple of former teen TV stars got engaged in 2013, married in 2014, and have had two children together since.

Javier Bardem & Penélope Cruz- A couple made up of two Oscar winners, Bardem & Cruz met in 2008 on set of the film that won Cruz her Oscar, ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona.’ They were married in 2010, have two children, & don’t discuss their personal lives much in public.

Daniel Craig & Rachel Weisz- Now we dive into the world of theater in which Craig & Weisz met while appearing in a stage production of ‘Les Grandes Horizontales’ in 1994. The two wouldn’t become a couple until 2010 and were married in 2011. They have had one child together.
